Israel Emergency Campaign

As the Israelis begin to rebuild their lives following massive destruction and emotional trauma resulting from a month of rocket Hezbollah attacks against Israel’s northern cities and towns, the United Jewish Federation continues to offer its support. Pittsburgh's Partnership 2000 region – the city of Karmiel and the Misgav region – have been particularly hit hard.

The UJF, through its fund raising efforts, is helping enable its overseas partners, the Jewish Agency for Israel and the American Joint Distribution Committee, to provide essential services to those most in need and to Israel’s most vulnerable populations, children, the elderly, those with special needs, and others.
