This heartbreaking documentary describes the journey of Israeli Astronaut Ilan Ramon and his colleagues on the doomed space shuttle Columbia. As we watch the astronauts enjoying their weightless selves in space, we wish the story could have a different end. With courage and pain, Ramon's relatives share with us the last week of his life. The poignant story is told through actual footage from space, e-mail communications
during the mission, and readings from Ramon's journal that was miraculously discovered amidst the wreckage in Texas. Questions arise as to NASA's handling of the tragedy. Could these astronauts have been saved? PJIFF is proud to host the American premiere of this very special film.
