The Pittsburgh Jewish-Israeli Film Festival (PJIFF) is a program of the United Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. PJIFF explores and celebrates Jewish and Israeli culture by presenting select films and programs with guest artists from around the world. The Festival seeks to actively include people from all races and religions, ages and abilities by programming films with a broad range of themes and by collaborating with community and educational organizations.
The 17th annual event will be held March 4 - 21, 2010.
Deadline for film submissions is November 2, 2009.
There is a $15 entry fee. Checks should be made out to "UJF-Film Festival".
Criteria:
Narrative, documentary, animation, shorts and children's films with Jewish and/or Israeli content
Foreign language films must be subtitled in English
Format for preview copies: VHS or DVD (NTSC is preferred, PAL is accepted)
Preview copies must be labeled with the title, director's name, running time and language(s) spoken in the film
Exhibition formats: 35mm and BetaSP

Shipping preview copies to PJIFF are paid by sender. Preview copies are returned to sender when a self-addressed stamped envelope is included with entry.
