About the Holocaust Center
The Holocaust was a unique historical event; the lessons we learn from it are universal. We are committed to education about the events of the Holocaust, commemoration of those who suffered and triumphed, and documentation of the stories of survivors, liberators and protectors. The mission of Holocaust Center of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh is to transform community and individual attitudes and behaviors by recognizing, understanding and remembering the atrocities of the Holocaust. Our programs and exhibitions heighten public awareness, serve to honor survivors, and keep memories alive.
