Pittsburgh Premiere

Director: Lorraine Lévy
France, 2005, 35mm, 97 minutes

Hannah is 16-years old and one amazing musician. The fact that she's overweight, Jewish and female doesn't help as she tries to break with tradition and play in her school's prestigious all-male jazz band. Set in 1960s France, the film features a fantastic jazz score and a dazzling performance by Marilou Berry (Look at Me).
